I am so excited for this feature! The pie chart aggregates your expenditures into groups and shows you exactly where your money is going proportionally.

Budgeting app
Almost have the chart working!
Major headache the past three days trying to unravel tabs, fragments, and swiping and how they all work together.

Budgeting app
Staying up late to restructure the app so that charts and swiping is easier to accommodate. Should be pretty spiffy when done.
Budgeting app
Today I fixed two highlighting bugs and included scrolling, so now you can see things that get pushed off the screen! Useful.
Macro strategy
My main strategy is to move somewhere more populated like Tokyo, Kyoto, or Osaka and get a programming job there, but optimally I'd like to be self-employed. Either way, I want to improve my coding skills, so lately I've been working on writing Android applications in my spare time. My current project is a budgeting app. There's a dearth of good ones on the the Android store and I could use one as well to help me with finances, so that's what I'm doing. It's coming along nicely.
Why
I don't know. That is the answer. For quite some time I've had the unusual, specific urge to live in Japan as a travelling coder. I want to wander through rice fields and mountains, find a nice spot, code for a few hours, and then repeat.
This is the record of my steps toward that goal.
